Tips, Hints and FYIs
Feeding the Butterflies: In your kit we provide cyclindrical sponges and honey for feeding the adult butterflies. Place the sponge in the bottom of the butterfly pavillion. Mix some honey with water and place a large droplet on the top of the sponge.
Other options are to:

• place a small flowering plant or some cut flowers in the pavillion. Drip the honey-water mix onto the flowers. Be sure to weight the pot or vase so it doesn't tip over. (best colors: purple, red, best flower arrangement: clustered flowers)
• place half a Naval Orange in a small bowl or on a plate and place it inside with the butterflies. Score the top of the fruit with a knife so the pulp is cut open a bit.
