OCM BOCES offers an efficient and cost-effective solution to secure substitutes through the Automated Substitute Call-In Service. We provide service to 27 school districts. The system utilizes the latest technology to provide the best-qualified substitute for an absence or vacancy, using custom set parameters based on individual District needs.
All substitutes must be approved by the Board of Education of the District in which they intend to work. Substitutes maintain their own profile (work schedule, phone number and email address). The system will instantaneously create a list based on set parameters and call those substitutes during the call-out period.
PIN Reset for phone access can only be done on the website.
Login to the website. Hover over the "Profile" dropdown menu and choose "Personal Information." Click the button for "PIN (Phone Password)." Enter your "New PIN" and reenter it in the "Confirm PIN" cell. Remember to click the "Save" button.
Emails provide notification on jobs and assignments. Employees receive emails when a job is created or canceled. Substitutes receive an email for job assignments, job changes and reminders. Emails contain the job info: number, location (with map link), classification and dates. Administrators receive reports via email.
Want a Substitute
If you wish to substitute, you must apply directly with the district(s). Once hired, the district inputs your information into the Substitute Call-In System to create your profile. The district will send you your profile information.
