Sustaining Instruction during Long-Term School Closures
The District Superintendents in our JMT have asked for representatives from the area to work together to prepare for the long-term school closures that are possible due to pandemic flu or other situations with a focus on sustaining instruction during times of long-term school closure or student dismissal. The goals of the effort were to identify the ramifications of school closure, to suggest considerations for district and school leaders facing such situations, and to identify practical means by which instruction can be sustained during periods of long-term school closures and student dismissals.
