Science Kit Scheduling:
Online scheduling for the 2013-2014 school year is now open. You can use the links below to access the log-in screen.
There should be a user name and password on the top right hand corner of the Scheduling Worksheets.

Next Generation Science Standards Timeline:
The first public draft of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) was available from May 11-June 1.
January 8, 2013 - Second draft released with 3 week public comment period.
March 2012 - Next Generation Science Standards finished and released - NYSED will have to decide whether to adopt the NGSS as released.

The OCM BOCES Science Center has investigated options of content leveled readers that align with our science kits and provide informational text for the Common Core ELA Standards. We have multiple readers from a variety of vendors available for you to examine.
We have been able to increase our collection and update our data list. The list, titled "Science Kit Book List", can be accessed from our "Science Resource Links" page.
