OCM BOCES Science Kit Scheduling: Teacher List Directions

For assistance contact the Science Center: 315 433-2671 or mst@ocmboces.org

Teacher List: To start, you will need to have a projected list of grade level class teachers for your school. (The Science Center's most recent list has been carried forward to the Teacher List webpage.)

  • START: View the list to identify a teacher name that needs to be replaced or assigned to a different grade level. Please double check grade level assignments for accuracy.

  • Modify Teacher Name/Grade: Click the "Modify this teacher" link. In the "Modify this teacher" view you can change the name, change the grade level or delete the teacher, if necessary. If you do not currently have the name of the replacement teacher use "TBA" as the last name (leave the first name blank).

  • Grade Level: It is the "grade" level assignment that will determine for which kits a teacher is scheduled. Be sure that teachers are assigned the correct grade level. If a multi-age classroom has a unique schedule then the "grade level" should represent the class structure, such as, 1/2 or 3/4. Special Ed grade level assignments should start with an S. (S1, S2, S3... can be used to designate different special ed kit schedules in the same building.)

  • Email: This field is currently OPTIONAL!

  • Teacher needs to receive more than one copy of a kit: If a teacher will be receiving more than one copy of a specific kit due to teaching the unit to several different classes, make sure that there are that many instances of the teacher in the list: one for each class. You should add a space and number (ie. #2) to the teacher's last name to indicate a unique class. (ie. If Kim Gray will be scheduled to receive two sets of kits at a grade level then, on the Teacher List, have a Kim Gray #1 and a Kim Gray #2.)

  • Add a Teacher: Use the "Add a Teacher" link to add a class teacher to the list. You can add a class teacher as a "TBA" if needed.

  • Contact Us: Please feel free to contact us with any questions specific to your situation.
