Professional Development for Superintendents

Knowing Your Audience in Order to Use Social Media to Express Your Message
Superintendents in the Mid-State area (Cayuga-Onondaga, OCM, Oswego, and TST BOCES, and Syracuse) participated in a special professional development opportunity, sponsored by our friends at AXA Advisors.

The November 27th event included breakfast, networking, and a talk by Richard Goldman about how school districts and other organizations can employ social media to help get a message out to the community. One important, often overlooked step is to make sure you know your audience in order to best communicate with them. Mr. Goldman will shared concrete strategies for you to use to better understand your audience. Mr. Goldman has a rich understanding of the role social media can play in marketing.
