Auto Collision Instructor
Like most high school young men in the 1970s, I was fascinated by the era's muscle cars. When my neighbor offered me an after school job in his car repair shop, I was a mighty happy fifteen year old. The thought of hands-on work on real cars was a dream come true for me.
During my junior and senior high school years, I studied welding at OCM BOCES. These valuable learning experiences led to a career in automotive body repair and then an instructorship at the OCM BOCES, I.E. Henry Occupational Campus, auto collision program. As an instructor, I have the opportunity to help spark the same kind of interest and enthusiasm from my students that I have long enjoyed.
