CROSSROADS

The Crossroads program is an 8:1:1 Classroom for students who have emotional disabilities. Therapeutic support is provided by social workers. Click here for more details.

SKATE

The SKATE (Scaffolding Kids Abilities Through Education) program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder provides comprehensive education and psycho-therapeutic assistance. The program utilizes the TEACCH model that provides a clearly organized, structured and modified environment with an emphasis on visual learning modalities. The curriculum is individualized for each student. Psychotherapeutic intervention and family support is an integral part of the SKATE program. Stellata

The Stellata program is designed to support students with a range of disabilities.  The program focuses on developing life skills and encourages independence while addressing behaviors. Classroom configuration is 12:1:3:1. Click here for more details.

STAR
The STAR program (Skills Toward Adult Responsibility) is designed for students who have a variety of disabilities. Curriculum is desinged following New York State learning standards and is specially designed to meet individual needs of the student. Based on a studnets IEP, work based instruction and living skills may be a part of the program. Classroom configuration is 12:1:1 Click here for more details.

TEAM
The TEAM (Towards Educational Achievement for the Multiply Disabled) program is designed for students who have severe multiple disabilities that impact their physical and cognitive development. Students are provided programming that will encourage the development of life skills and increase independent funcioning. Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program
This program serves children with a hearing loss who require support beyond the general education classroom setting. Educational options vary depending on the needs of the student but range from placement in a general educational classroom with support to a full classroom with a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing.  Click here for more details.

Students with Emotional Disabilities
These programs serve students whose management and emotional needs are determined to be highly intensive. These programs provide individual students with a range of therapeutic interventions to best match their emotional and behavioral needs. Counseling services for all students are included. The students receive academic classroom programming in conjunction with the psychotherapeutic interventions. Click here for more details.

AHSEP
The GED program: AHSEP, is open to students with a variety of educational needs who are at least 16 years old, have at least 8th grade reading and math levels and who have earned less than 12.5 credits for graduation. The goal of the program is to prepare the students for the TASC examinations. This is a half-day program. Click here for more details.

TRANSTITION 
This program  focuses on students who are between the ages of 17 and 21, who are NYSAA eligible and working towards the Skills and Achievement Credential. Students will be provided work based learning opportunities at the college, academics which support these vocational opportunities and community based instruction

WORK BASED LEARNING
Work based learning integrates academic core curriculum with authentic work experience to promote school-to-career transitions. It provide an opportunity for students to acquirenecessary skills and habits that support jobsuccess and personal growth.
