The K-12 grade program is based in the Solvay Union Free School District and has served 36 school districts in Central New York for more than 45 years.
The specialized staff works with students who utilize differing technology (Cochlear Implant processors, hearing aids, iPads and other assistive devices) and who use a variety of preferred communication modalities (oral with no knowledge/use of sign language, use of sign support, and exclusive use of sign language). Classroom instruction is based on the NYS Learning Standards. Some students may have other disabilities as well as hearing loss. Students receive related services as indicated in their individual IEP.

The office responsible for coordinating student services from the student's home district will contact the appropriate BOCES program administrator to begin the referral proces.
