Program Description
The STAR program (Skills Toward Adult Responsibility) is designed for students who have a variety of disabilities. Curriculum is designed following New York State learning standards and is specially designed to meet individual needs of the student. Based on a student's IEP, work-based instruction and living skills may be a part of the program.
Student Profile
Students have a variety of disabilities which may include intellectual disabilities, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Speech and Language Impaired.

Referral Process
The office responsible for coordinating student services from the student's home district will contact the appropriate BOCES program administrator to begin the referral process.
