New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB)
The New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB) honors high school graduates who demonstrate strong proficiency in English and at least one other world language. This prestigious recognition highlights students' language skills, prepares them for future opportunities, and celebrates the diversity of our multilingual society. Successful candidates earn a New York State Seal for their diploma and a medallion to wear at graduation from the New York State Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages.
