High School Programs for 9th-12th Grade Students

OCM BOCES offers three diploma bound programs for high school students. All three are characterized by low staff to student ratios, close connections between staff and students and rigorous academics with a focus on multiple learning styles and 21st century skills. The Cortland Alternative School highlights student participation in Family Groups. These groups address self-awareness, reflection, academic goals and personal growth. The Innovation Tech highlights careers and a career-based curriculum. Students in 11th and 12th grades participate in a Career and Technical Education Program during the morning or afternoon. STARS Alternative High School highlights a team approach. The staff for each team work collaboratively to design learning experiences for their students.
