OCM BOCES, in cooperation with Liverpool Central Schools, will be sponsoring The Laboratory Safety Institute’s 2012 One-day Training seminar "Safety In Secondary School Science Labs". This comprehensive seminar teaches the fundamentals of lab safety and how to improve your lab safety program.  This course will be invaluable to the science instructor.  Participants will receive the resources needed to understand the fundamentals  of lab safety, to develop or improve their lab safety program, and to comply with the OSHA Chemical Hygiene/Lab Standard.
  

This seminar is appropriate for all secondary school science teachers and can be used as a training tool in their home district, orient new employees or as a refresher.
