Behavior Management Transitional Class Program

 
Student Profile
Our Behavior Management program is offered to students who have a range of disabilities including Emotional Disabilities, Other Health Impaired, and/or Speech and Language Impairments, who also need a high level of support to help express their emotions appropriately.

Desired Outcomes 

Students will develop academic, social/emotional and behavioral skills necessary to be successful.  Students will participate in NYS assessments.

Daily Activities

Classroom instruction is academic in nature and based on NYS requirements.  Students also participate in social skills groups, speech, O/T, P/T, art, music, P.E., and bowling.

Referral Process

The office responsible for coordinating student services from the student's home district will contact the appropriate BOCES program administrator to begin the referral process.
