Congratulations to all of our NHS inductees!
Congratulations to nine students from Seven Valleys New Tech Academy who were recently inducted into National Honor Society. The honor recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in knowledge, scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
In a ceremony held May 6 at the OCM BOCES Cortlandville Campus, students described the core attributes of National Honor Society and lit a candle to represent one.
Later, after reciting the National Honor Society pledge, each student received gold cords from OCM BOCES Deputy Superintendent Colleen Viggiano to wear at their high school graduation and a certificate of recognition from OCM District Superintendent Matt Cook, Ed.D.
National Honor Society at Seven Valleys is led by Elizebeth Henrichs, the school counselor.
Classmates, friends, family, district representatives, OCM BOCES administrators and other guests attended the induction ceremony in the school auditorium.
