Kathryn Daughton - Coordinator
Kathryn Daughton joined OCM BOCES in 2019 after 20 years in public schools. As Literacy Coordinator, Kathryn and her team work within the subject areas of ELA, Social Studies, Art, Music, Health and Physical Education. Prior to her BOCES appointment, Kathryn served as an administrator in the Fayetteville-Manlius CSD, and was a social studies teacher for 17 years in both CNY and Pennsylvania. She is a Nationally Board Certified teacher as well as holding School Building and School District Leadership accreditation. Kathryn earned a BA in History & Secondary Education from Marist College, a Master's in History from SUNY Cortland, and a Doctorate in Education and Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Her dissertation focused on Black student identity and closing the Black-White achievement gap. She is a board member of the CNY Council for the Social Studies and of CNY Reads.

Lisa Schlegel - Teacher Trainer, ISS-Professional Development
Lisa Schlegel joined OCM BOCES as a Literacy Teacher Trainer/Coach in 2005. She was a former classroom teacher in Syracuse City School District. Lisa is a certified LETRS facilitator. She has done extensive work in literacy from training/supporting teachers with literacy interventions to building their foundational literacy knowledge. Lisa also has expertise in many additional professional development areas, such as Instruction For All Students, Meeting The Needs of Diverse Learners, Content Area Literacy, Differentiated Instruction, Co-Teaching, Poverty and Engagement strategies. She is a facilitator for the New York State Leaderships in Early Learning & ELA. Lisa holds a B.S from Niagara University and M.S. from Syracuse University.

Patrick D. Shaw - Staff Development Specialist
Patrick Shaw joined OCM BOCES as a Staff Development Specialist in 2001. He was a former classroom teacher for the West Genesee, Marshfield, MA and Brookline, MA school districts. Patrick is a nationally certified trainer for the Responsive Classroom® approach from the Center for Responsive School, Turner Falls, MA. Patrick was also trained by The Buck Institute to provide workshops and coaching on Project-Based Learning. He is an instructional coach and also provides professional development in various areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment using the Instruction For All™ framework. He is a facilitator for the New York State Leaderships in Social Studies, Early Learning and Physical/Health Education. Patrick holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Reading, and a CAS in Educational Administration from SUNY Cortland.

Lynn Radicello
Lynn Radicello has worked with OCM BOCES in various departments providing staff development for the past 20 years. Her areas of expertise are differentiated instruction, co-teaching, group facilitation, school improvement planning and teaching to promote achievement for students from poverty. She is certified as a trainer for Ruby Payne's Framework of Poverty, and MiraVia's Learning Focused Relationships. Lynn also has 14 years teaching experience K-8. She holds a B.S. in Special Education from Syracuse University and M.S. in Elementary Education and CAS in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego. "Improving educational experiences for students is my life's work".
