COORDINATOR
Brandi Holzhauer
MSN, RN, Ed.D.
Brandi Holzhauer, MSN, RN, Ed.D., earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her master’s degree in nursing education from Robert Wesleyan College in Rochester. She went on to earn her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Executive Leadership from Le Moyne College. Brandi has worked in nursing and nursing education for more than two decades. She comes to OCM BOCES after working more than seven years as an adjunct professor and clinical coordinator in the Purcell School of Professional Studies — Nursing Department at Le Moyne College. Early in her career, she worked for six years as a clinical coordinator/clinical instructor for the OCM BOCES Practical Nursing Program.
Nikki Coyne
BSN, RN
Nikki Coyne, BSN, RN, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University, an associate’s degree in nursing from Morrisville State College, and a licensed practical nursing certification after graduating from OCM BOCES in 2018. Her 13+ years of experience as a nurse include positions at Cottages at the Grove in Cicero, the Syracuse VA Medical Center, and Upstate University Hospital.
Michelle Damiano
BSN, RN
Michelle Damiano, BSN, RN, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bryant & Stratton College in April 2025. She previously worked at Oswego Health as a Medical Assistant within the Physician Care Offices, primarily in Urology and Orthopedics. Eventually serving as the Team Lead for the Urology Department. After obtaining her BSN, she returned to Oswego Health as an RN in Med-Surg and Urology. Prior to obtaining her BSN she received her CMA, EKG Tech, and Phlebotomy from CiTi BOCES. She also holds an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Cobleskill. Within this field, she has worked in various roles of Education and Advocacy.
Perryn Every
RN
Perryn A. Every, RN, earned his RN degree from Bryant & Stratton College and previously attended Ulster County BOCES to earn his certification as a licensed practical nurse. He has more than 10 years of experience in emergency care and long-term nursing care, with positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Bishop Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Tamika Handy
BSN, RN
Tamika Handy, BSN, RN, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University and previously earned an associate’s degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing. Dedicated to empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals, she is passionate about inspiring nursing students to develop the clinical expertise and compassionate care skills needed to transform lives and strengthen our communities. Tamika has more than 10 years of diverse healthcare experience, including her most recent positions at the Solace Healthcare, Onondaga County Justice Center, and SUNY Upstate Hospital.
Naomi Harty
BSN, CMSRN-BC
Naomi Harty, BSN, CMSRN-BC, is working on obtaining her master’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Purdue University. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field, with positions at Upstate Medical University, Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Home Care. As reflected in her credentials, she is a Board-Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse.
Shawnda Hathaway
BSN, RN, VA-BC
Shawnda Hathaway, BSN, RN, VA-BC, is a Board Certified Vascular Access Registered Nurse who earned her BSN from Chamberlain University in 2022, her AAS in nursing in 2005 from the Crouse Hospital School of Nursing, and is currently working to obtain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Upstate University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has nearly two decades of experience in a variety of healthcare settings, ranging from Med/Surg, Vascular Access, Geriatrics, Traumatic Brain Injury, Corrections, Supervision, and her most recent role working at Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse since 2013
