SPECIAL EDUCATION CLASSES
All Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES classes are operated in compliance with the Commissioner's Regulations Part 200. OCM BOCES offers a wide range of educational alternatives for students with varying degrees of cognitive, emotional and physical disabilities. Our programs emphasize helping students to develop their full potential and function as independently as possible. Where feasible, students are educated with non-disabled peers and in the least-restrictive environment.
INNOVATIVE EDUCATION
OCM BOCES offers a wide range of programs to meet the needs of a diverse group of students who are not finding success in traditional educational settings. All of our programs are characterized by a low staff to student ratio, close connections between students and staff and rigorous academics with a focus on multiple learning styles. Some programs incorporate career and technical courses or service learning opportunities. We serve students in grades 7 through 12 and between the ages of 13 and 21. All referrals are made through the students' home school districts.

We employ a project-based learning approach that engages students with authentic learning and meaningful collaboration. Students work in teams to creatively solve problems, working hand-in-hand with businesses in the community. All students at Innovation Tech earn college credit, participate in internships, and give back to the community through service learning.
