Description
Transition Assessment & Student Exit Summary 2013-06-18

This workshop will help you understand how both informal and formal assessent methods can focus and align planning for students with disabilities. Through using quality and often FREE assessments, students, parents and staff can directly focus their resources on areas of need. By collecting and reflecting on this information, developing a student's present levels of performance becomes more meaningful and focused. New York State requires a Student Exit summary (SES) to be completed for each student with a disability exiting school. Participants will learn regulatory requirements for the mandated student exit summary and receive unique resources in making this tool useful and informative for the student.
