PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Career & Technical Education (CTE) and New Vision classes at the Irvin E. Henry (Syracuse) and Charles H. McEvoy (Cortland) education campuses are designed for students who are on a college track or planning an immediate entry into the workforce. The Career Exploration program is a half-day Career and Technical Education program located at both the Irvin E. Henry Education Campus (Syracuse) and the Charles H. McEvoy Education Campus (Cortland). The focus of the program is on building the skills of students through hands-on learning coupled with supportive academic instruction in the classroom. Upon completion of the program, students may choose to enroll in a two-year Career & Technical Education program or return to their home school district on a full-time basis.

OCM BOCES ALUMNI HALL OF FAME
The Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES Career and Technical Education Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 2011 to honor individuals who have graduated from our Career and Technical Education programs and who demonstrate leadership in their field. Each year, nominations are solicited and reviewed by a subcommittee made up from our OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee. The committee reviews the nominations for the following qualifications:
1. OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education Graduate;
2. Engagement in an occupation related to the program completed at OCM BOCES;
3. Demonstrate leadership in his/her field;
4. Exercise civic responsibility.
The winners of the award will have a commemorative plaque placed in the "Hall of Fame" in their respective campus of graduation.
