The Lee. G. Peters Career Training and Irvin E. Henry Education Campuses
require students to complete an integrated technical math and/or an integrated technical science course over two years.
The curricula for these courses each have a core set of concepts or topics to be covered during the school year. However, students enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs will have the added advantage of being able to apply the core concepts of these courses to the particular career and technical education
field they are studying. The math, science and career and technical education teachers work as a team to provide the instruction.
Students attending the program may earn one credit for math one year and one credit for science the other year. This will enable students to choose a career and technical education program and still earn the required credits for graduation.
This will raise the academic standards for all career and technical education programs.
