Part-Time Continuing Education

Whether you are looking to try your hand at a new hobby or leisure activity, we have assembled a variety of part-time Continuing Education classes and hope you will find something that interests you. Four sessions are offered each year - fall, winter, spring and summer - and new classes are offered each session. See the link below for our most current brochures. Cortland

• McEvoy Educational Campus - Cortland
• Cortland Alternative School - Cortland

Most classes are scheduled weekday evenings or Saturday mornings and are intended for adults 18 years and older. The exceptions are Driver Education and classes specifically designed for children. We look forward to meeting you in one of our classes.

 

Dignity Act Certification Course

This 6 hour New York State Education Dept. Certification Class is required for all people seeking new certification as of January 1st, 2014. Sign up for the 3 hour on-line class and the 3 hour in-person class sponsored by OCM BOCES.

Professional Development Workshop Series

Educators from component districts can attend regional professional development opportunities sponsored through CI&A at no additional charge. The regional opportunities are based upon data from surveys that district representatives completed in late spring.

Professional Development for LMSW & LCSW

Approved by NYS Education Department Division of Social Work. OCM BOCES is a NYS Education Department of Social Work Continuing Education Provider. Each participant will receive an official Certificate of Completion for each class.
