Graphic Communications
Program Description
The Graphic Communications program prepares students to be graphic artists. Students in this program develop skills by producing artwork using MacIntosh computers. The artwork might be in the form of advertisements for newspapers, television ads, posters, graphs, or direct mail ads. Projects may include logo design, business cards, computer illustration, digital imaging, multimedia, and web page design. Field trips to advertising agencies, printing companies, and colleges are typically included.
