Parenting a preschooler can be rewarding,
demanding and frustrating--but it is never dull! Skills necessary
for encouraging positive behavior in your child and for handling
those behavior problems that do arise will be reviewed. Explore
the relationship between developmental age, ability, and expected
behavior.

EVEN START
Even start offers you a home-based
family literacy program. The program provides adult
education, parenting skills, early childhood education,
and job search strategies. Learn how to be your
child's first teacher and prepare your child(ren)
for school. Available to families with at least 1
child under the age of 4. Even Start staff is
on-site at the Career Training Center and The
Consortium for Children's Services, Inc.
