Description: Prepare for an entry-level position in the plumbing trade through this 317 hour program. Learn theory and hands-on skills in areas such as

• Plumbing tools

• Piping materials and fittings

• Valves

• Faucets and meters

• Heating and cooling water

• Print reading

• Pipe and fitting installation

• Soldering, brazing and welding

• Building and plumbing codes

• Plumbing fixtures

• Maintaining and repairing plumbing systems

An 80-hour internship with a potential employer is included.

Schedule: Monday and Thursdays
5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Start Date: October 15, 2007 - April 25, 2008

Cost: $3,200

Funding is available to cover the cost.

Instructor: Luke Searles - Licensed plumber. Owns a local plumbing contracting business.
