Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide

Description: Approved preparation for NYS Nurse Aide certification and approved to issue Home Health Aide certification. 

Content:

• Classroom and practical instruction in all areas of patient care.

• Infection control and procedures.

• Clinical experience in hospital, nursing home, and home care.

Course Hours: 225 hours

Length: 8 weeks

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

August 27 - October 19, 2007
October 29 - December 21, 2007

Instructor: Mary Miner, RN

Cost: $2100 tuition, includes uniform and NYS testing fee. Health requirements cost not included.
Tuition assistance available.

Placement: readily available in this high-demand occupation in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as with home care agencies or private clients.
