Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
HVAC/R
A comprehensive
technical and hands-on training program covering all
of the critical aspects of the HVAC/R field. Here is
an opportunity to understand refrigeration and
cooling systems, electrical circuitry and gas and
oil fired heat systems and heat pumps. Learn to
install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair both
residential and commercial systems. Students work on
fully operable heating and cooling systems in an
authentic HVAC/R lab. Customer service and
communication skills are included. Great career
opportunities exist as an HVAC/R entry level
technician, equipment installation personnel,
facilities maintenance technician, residential sales
and service representative, EPA certification test
for refrigerant recovery, recycling and reclamation
included.
NEW! Commercial and
industrial refrigeration training have been added to
expand instruction in this growing part of the
field.
