Description: Comprehensive technical and hands-on training covering all of the critical aspects of the HVAC/R field.

Content:

 

· Theory and practical in fully operable authentic HVAC/R lab/classroom.

· Refrigeration and cooling systems.

· Electrical circuitry and electronic solid state control applications.

· Gas and oil fired heat systems and heat pumps.

· Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial systems.

· Level I, II, and III EPA refrigerant recovery, recycling and reclamation certification.

· Computer literacy, customer service and communication skills.

· Job seeking skills and placement assistance.

Job Target: HVAC/R entry level technician, equipment installation personnel, facilities maintenance technician, commercial sales and service representative.
Course Hours: 715 hours
Length: 22 weeks, including 2-week internship
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday  8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Start Dates: August 27, 2008 - February 8, 2008
February 11, 2008 - July 18, 2008

Cost: $5850 Includes EPA Certification testing.
