Beginners
A 6-session introductory
course for the person with no previous computer
experience. Using IBM-compatible personal computers, students
will gain knowledge of the intricate functions of a computer and
how related software are utilized. This course includes basic
elements of Windows XP. Keyboard literacy required. Additional

effectively creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.
During this exciting six hour workshop you will learn to start
and identify on-screen features, and navigate through
presentations. Students will learn to manage presentation
slides, work with text, and format and manipulate objects.
Adding transitions and animation will be demonstrated along with
various presentation options available. Students will be guided
through PowerPoint 2007 features with hands-on presentations and

engines to efficiently locate information.
