COMMERCIAL DRIVER- BRAKE CERTIFICATION
**NEW**
Every truck driver holding a Commercial Driving
License (CDL) who wants to make their own brake
adjustments is required by the federal
government to hold a brake certification . Frank
Magari, Tractor Trailer
Driving instructor for OCM BOCES, will
demonstrate and allow participants to practice
adjustments of "S" cam and Flat cam air brake
systems and manual and self-adjusting slack
adjustments. A certificate and wallet card will
be issued upon completion.

TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER
Gain intensive theory and road practice in
preparation for your NYS CDL Class A licensing
test. You'll do 21 hours of driving practice on
diesel tractor trailers during weekends starting
out at our Henry Campus
in Syracuse. Two theory class dates and a brake
certification class are scheduled for Friday
evenings. The tuition includes one road test
appointment with tractor and trailer, plus
driver instructor. Prerequisite: Ability to
drive standard shift and Class A driving permit.
Textbook required.

For the experienced tractor trailer driver
currently holding a Class A or B license or
permit, or who wishes to recover a Class A
License. Includes one road test appointment,
using our tractor and trailer, plus instructor
for NYS Class A CDL road test. Prerequisite: CDL
Class A or B permit.
