primarily for the person who plans to seek
employment in a physician's office/clinic, or in
a hospital setting. It can also provide the
necessary background of the reimbursement
process to establish one's own billing

have a basic overview of the role of the
insurance billing specialist, know the
entry-level basics of health insurance, be able

National Phlebotomy Association. Topics include
the role of the phlebotomist, patient

transport and processing and quality assurance
