ADVANCED WINDOWS TRAINING

The computer repair field is growing as fast as the computer technology field and the demand for trained repair technicians is increasing substantially. This detailed hands-on training will lead the student to A+ Certification as an entry level service technician. Class objectives include coverage of the following topics: basic hardware components and their relationship to each other in the PC, IRQ's, DMA's and I/O addressing, basic configurations and installations, common upgrade issues, printer types and problems including parts and EP photo process, basic troubleshooting and diagnosis, tools, preventative maintenance, safety concerns, and customer service issues. Earning A+ Certification indicates that the service technician possesses the knowledge, skills, and customer service interpersonal skills necessary to complete a successful service call. (Testing fee is not included in course fee.)
