DRIVER EDUCATION
Learn BEFORE you drive! The Driver Education program at OCM BOCES consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction and 24 hours of vehicle instruction. Driving times are assigned during non-classroom hours and/or weekends. Driving groups consist of four students per vehicle and drive-time instruction is provided in cooperation with Able II Driving School. All students must be at least sixteen years of age before the first class, and must bring proof of age to first class. In order to obtain a "CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION " attendance is required for all classroom and driving sessions. A text is required and can be purchased at the time of registration. (Text fee is $25.) Please call or send your registration in early as class size is limited.

EMPIRE SAFETY COUNCIL ACCIDENT PREVENTION WORKSHOP
A great way to lower your insurance costs, take points off your driving record, and even possibly save a life. Upon completion of the DMV approved point/insurance reduction program, you'll be entitled to receive a 10% reduction on your vehicle liability, personal injury protection and collision insurance for 3 years. In addition, you may reduce up to 4 points from your driving record every 18  months . There's a fresh new format for this program, with more of your involvement and participation encouraged and new traffic safety films. A 1/2 hour lunch break will be provided.
